When the Baby’s Away…..

….The adults will play!

This weekend was jam packed with so many activities – from celebrating an engagement to a Chargers game.  My husband and I dropped our son off with my cousin for the weekend and went full force ahead with us time.  It’s going on almost 4 full days now and I can’t wait to pick up the little guy.

After we dropped off our son, we took a little drive down the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway), and I snapped a few pictures that I thought were pretty neat.

We stopped by the UTC Mall to check it out since I haven’t been there for years.  Well…. years later, they now have a dog park aka Bark Park.

The main reason we had a weekend without the little guy was because we had an engagement party to go to.  The party was held at 57 Degrees, which holds the largest wine facility in San Diego County.  If their great selection of wine wasn’t good enough, they also serve amazing food, and have a pretty large selection of Craft Beers (San Diego is known for it’s Craft Beers).  For entertainment, there’s Corn Hole, Pool, and a calendar of events filled with plenty of fun, 21+ year old things to do.  The service was fantastic as the bartenders, waiters, etc. remembered your name and were very knowledgeable with their collection.  It’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to.

We’re Chargers season ticket holders so the Sunday game was a must.  Won’t go too deep into this, since it was our first home game loss = ( All in all, it was a great weekend and I can’t wait until the next baby-free weekend.  What did you all do over the weekend?  I hope it was great.
